HIB files rules, forms, classification tables, loss costs, and related materials with the Hawaii Insurance Division for use by our

Publication Re-designation
HIB has instituted a new circular and bulletin numbering system for better differentiation from our filing designations.
All publications will now be assigned a unique six-digit identifier (i.e. 100001), forgoing the line-specific classification
(i.e. FA 2009-01) previously utilized.
Publication Bookmarks
HIB has added bookmarks (essentially a tab) within publications to expedite navigation from one section to the next. To access
these bookmarks, select the ‘Bookmarks’ button in the left frame of Adobe Reader/Acrobat. A list will appear detailing all the
publication components. Clicking a specific bookmark will take you to the first page of the selection. Page numbers associated
with the bookmarks have been incorporated for your printing convenience.
Entry-Enabled Adoption Forms
HIB has developed an entry-enabled adoption form to reduce your filing preparation time. You may type information directly into the
adoption form included with circulars. These new forms have been formatted to transfer data from duplicate fields and total certain calculations.
After completion, you can print the adoption form page range (3 to 5) to incorporate with your company’s filing.
